ALERT Heads up - week-end Mash Up Oct 6 -8 Sat-Sun-Mon
-Exposition Park-downtown-East LA: CicLAvia --bicycling --again, even if you don't: surrounding/feeding streets will be closed, mostly entire day (they say till 3 pm, Believe at your perile); But not enough:
-West LA, mostly, closed President Obama: arrives early Sunday -departs Monday, around 9am at LAX.--Sunset -Westwood -Culver City + a downtown concert venue
If you're thinking beach:  fergetaboutit
-Santa Monica big to-do: Beer-Art-Music street fest --loads of feeder streets shut.
So: you can do a) Valley or b) hide in the 'hood --only non-crazy-maker choices, but at price of gas, if you can find any, why go anywhere if you don't hafta.
