So they are pushing the "benefits" of building another bowl --to Get a pro football team to move from wherever to Los Angeles.

Los Angeles has desperate "need" for billionaire-boys to play here?? NFL --has 'desperate' need to operate in Los Angeles? Really? Bernie Parks, "council" member: spent a freak'n fortune flying around, on our money of course, trying to Convince, but came home, trip after trip, only with receipts.

The BBs are pushing "benefit" --of ripping up LA's Convention Center --of nearby small businesses 'clamming' up --of Metro going along --of no complaints on those clever "City" bonds --of getting a Shiny New Bowl: with temporary "employment" of job-less construction workers.

Hmmm.... Show of hands: who thinks the Boys will hire union workers --won't get any kind of, uh, refund for hiring any workers? --Believes "Promise" won't cost City a cent? If you raised your hand: send me your e-mail address, I'll hook you up with a swell deal on a bridge -going cheap.

After they got an insurance company assurance they would fork over $700 Million bucks --to them --to name the Shiny New Bowl, they went and 'convinced' politicians we "need" a Shiny New Bowl.

Then they trotted on over to Sacramento, had a jaw with Speaker Perez, Mr. Padilla and some more of the boys --who represent who --who want in on the action --and TaDa! Before Any billionaire pro ball owner/ball club has signed up, or even hinted they would, "our" representatives in Legislature: made a Bright Shiny Special new law for them.

If anybody gets 'cranky' on Shiny New Bowl idea: well 'crankiness' goes straight to court, fast --so any annoying Environmental Impact Review --of how their Bowl will affect everybody else, doesn't slow down them/Shiny New Bowl construction. Shoot, Why didn't You get one of those deals?

Too Late, now: this afternoon Governor Brown --signed up, put his John Hancock/state seal on the deal --to put any Bowl EIR dispute --into speed court. Billionaire Boys: won't have to slog it out, for years, if anybody doesn't like the impact --of all that rubble, dust, destruction, destroyed structures --and deleted revenue to LA....

If they find toxic waste under bulldozed convention center, like under late great Ambassador Hotel rubble --oh well? They can just --hand out phone number to 9/11 fire fighters, well to the ones still alive.

Law written: tax on Income --highest amount, reduced to 35% --until this New Year's Eve, then tax on Personal Income goes back to: 39%. There aren't any higher brackets --on say $500 Million or a Billion bucks, or more --don't pay higher tax.

But now --You --don't want to pay more on Your Personal income? That puts You: among the greediest.

The amount of money held by the 2%: equals ALL the money held by the OTHER 98%.

Even though there are more Democrats in the US, the so-called Independents plus the Poorly-informed -easily-manipulated Tea Party people voted: more Republicans into House of Representatives, the people's House, in November election.

For decades Republicans: represent the rich --Take their orders -create carve-outs -write special laws -get 'special' breaks for big donors -for wealthiest Americans -for corporations.

If You Don't want to pay --more tax on Your Personal income, on wealth You accumulated this year: You're with those people --anti-Americans.

They thought it would be macho -pal-helpful: to start war --in two countries --at the same time --on money borrowed from other countries to pay for it. War engorges pals, corporations that supply stuff to Penta-goons, militants gung-ho to spend America's money to fight today, with last war's weapons, strategies, thinking --indifferent to Cost.

--Wiley Penta-goons: they put a base -weapon-maker -or major parts supplier in Every state to 'nail down' any shift in Congress -political wind, that would stop their spending --us into bankruptcy.

When the squatters --The Thug and The Dick got into the White House --not by vote, but via no-longer supreme court, they saw: Treasury surplus --hard-earned by Democrats, and set about Spending. After they blew through Our savings: they binged some more --borrowed, every week, like a 12-year old girl with Daddy's credit card; enriched pals --from every sector. --You said what?

To help --their pals, They made Sure prices of those drugs would stay high --higher than anywhere else in the world --no negotiating THAT for VA, seniors --NO more trips to Canada to get SAME drugs at half cost.

How much do we owe? So much money it hurts the brain to take in. To pay what we owe other countries --working poor --homeless --druggies --middle-class --middle-Americans --all those making Less than $45,000 a year, Every American: would have to send a check to Treasury for $44,000 --today.

Next year: that amount won't cover the Interest on our Debt.

Money Madness, Tuesday 2-17-09 PM

How did we --non-banker, non-Wall Street whiz/wize-guys, get down here, in the weeds? CNBC attempted, Friday February 13, to explain how the greed disease of people who worked in banking, mortgage, finance --institutions we counted on, inflicted --infected first Americans, then the world; ripped off all of us.

"House of Cards" was okay, if you hadn't followed it as it happened at the time. I have: the piece was incomplete. --It left out half the story. It didn't interview or explain: the people at the top who ran the Ponzi scheme that stripped Americans, then the world of wealth -security -pavement we were supposed to be able to stand on. Those who KNEW what they were doing --to everyone else, remain in their 'ivory towers' unrepentant, un-interviewed, un-indicted. It left out: 'rulers' --"experts" --regulators who were supposed to be the lions at the gate. It also left out: any sketch of What To Do Now --How To --repair --restore --remain sane, without a home...pension...job.

Perhaps "FRONTLINE" will do a better job:

So far: I haven't heard any talking head 'experts,' clever bobble-heads say one thing that is on-point to Correct this mess. The media: was far too busy shoveling celebrities on OUR air time; couldn't be bothered with looking at --examining what was going on, at the time. Now: the bobble-heads and the "experts" don't shut up. Neither do they say anything that Helps, they're all too busy Reacting.

The obvious has been obviously wrong
Things ain't too good, not even in Silver Lake daVine. FRONTLINE has earned superb reputation, maybe they will do a good job of examining the money mess/those who got us here. If not: let us hope we see prosecutors do it better --soon.
